The team responsible for this website is composed of Maëlle Coquelet. Student in BUT MMi, I made this website for a pedagogical project at the MMi department of Montbéliard.

One of my inspirations was the YouTube channel SyPlay. Sy is a content creator who makes character analysis, mainly about Kaamelott’s characters. He’s the one who made me want to rewatch Book IV trough VI. Go check his content!

The purpose of this website is to show Kaamelott under another angle. This saga isn’t just silly jokes and good one liner like “le gras c’est la vie” (fat is life). One thing I’ve noticed are people saying, “I enjoy Kaamelott, but Book IV and further are too dramatic, so I didn’t watch them all”. So, my goal was to make a website with serious analysis content, but also accessible to people here for the comedy. Hence the choice of the theme and quote.

Here is the most meaningful quote from Arthur at the end of Book V:

« For the Graal, I built a fortress. Kaamelott, we call it. I sought after knights from all over the kingdom. In Caledonia, Carmelide, in Gaunes, Vannes, Wales... I had made a big table, so knights could sit together. I wanted it round, so no one would sit in a corner or at the end of the table. It was complicated, so i tried to explain what was the Graal, so everyone would understand. It was difficult, so I tried to make jokes so no one would be bored. I failed, but I don't want people to say I've done nothing, because it's not true.»
